30 Days of Me — My First Journal (Yes, I Made One!)

One random day — okay, maybe not so random — I caught myself scrolling a little too much online. You know that moment when you realize, “Hmm… I’ve been looking at memes for two hours but haven’t looked at myself for five minutes?” Yeah. That was me.

I spend a lot of time being present for my daughter (as I should), and I’ll log off social media to be with her, but deep down I knew — I wasn’t doing enough for me. I was pouring from an empty cup, and let’s be real: life gets chaotic, fast. Between responsibilities, stress, and trying to keep my hair from doing weird things… I was tired. 🫠

So I decided to carve out just one hour a day — not for chores, not for scrolling, but for me to breathe, reflect, and write. That’s how the idea for this journal was born.

📓 Introducing: 30 Days of Me

It’s exactly what it sounds like — a 30-day guided journal for self-reflection, self-love, and self-whatever-you-need. Each day gives you a simple task paired with a prompt to write about. Some tasks may feel familiar (and that’s okay!) — but the power is in actually pausing to process and journal your thoughts.

I included a little space for notes on each page, because we all need to vent, doodle, or brain-dump a grocery list mid-thought.

Now, let me keep it real for a sec:

  • Is it perfect? No.
  • Is this my first journal? Yep.
  • Did I put my heart into it? Absolutely.

It may not have a ton of writing space for my deep-feeling, paragraph-writing folks — and I get that. But I say: when in doubt, grab an extra sheet of notebook paper. Or five. 😂 There’s always a solution, and it’s not the end of the world.

So please take it a little easy on me — this is me trying, creating, and putting something real into the world. If journaling is your thing (or you want it to be), I truly hope you’ll give this one a shot. 💖
